Court Notre Dame de la Paix #2316 at Our Lady of Peace was chartered July 9, 1989 with 75 members. Today the court is 169 members strong.

Mission Statement

Catholic Daughters of the Americas strive to embrace the principal of faith working through love in the promotion of justice, equality and the advancement of human rights and dignity for all. 


The purpose of the organization is to participate in the religious, charitable and educational Apostolates of the Church. Catholic Daughters of the Americas engages in creative and spiritual programs which provide its members with the opportunity to develop their God-given talents in meaningful ways that positively influence the welfare of the Church and all people throughout the world. 

Local Court Activities

Prays the rosary at wakes before funerals in church.
Bereavement for deceased members of our church parish.
Spiritual bouquet for all deceased members.
Honor Guard during the rosary for deceased members.
Rosary For Peace before Wednesday evening Mass.
Pays liability insurance for all members.
Supports five National Charities projects.
Supports State CDA Project Rainbow.
Supports Citizens for Education of Freedom.
Supports Bishop Ott's Works of Mercy Trust Fund and North American College.
Supports Seminarian Fund, Catholic Community Services and National Center on Sexual Exploitation.
Supports Metanois Manor.
Supports a local Catholic Daughters Kid.
Collects for the American Heart Association.
Helps with May Crowning and Corpus Christi procession.
Anniversary banquet and Christmas party.
Observes Blessed Mother's birthday on September 8.
White Ribbon Against Pornography in October.
Rosary chain to protest against abortion on the first Sunday in October.
Supports the Knights of Columbus with their Tootsie Roll Drive.
Celebrates National Catholic Daughters Day on the third Sunday in October.
Memorial service for all deceased members before the November meeting.
Sponsors the poinsettia memorial tree in December.
Supports Crossroads Crisis Pregnancy Center.
Participates in Angel Tree which provides Christmas gifts for children of incarcerated.
Sends Christmas cards to incarcerated and those serving our country.
Celebrates Priest Appreciation Day on the first Sunday in June.
Visits parishioners in nursing homes and homebound.
Celebrates Dr. Seuss's birthday by reading and donating books to local school.
